That is the same Sir Walter Scott who wrote the famous words
What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive

...words which might strike a chord with those of us who spent some time struggling in the closet.

Enjoy your time in Edinburgh ('Auld Reekie') - and that view from the station, over Princes Street and up to the Castle, is one of the best city views in Europe (in my opinion).

Good to see you in Central Edinburgh Meeting today. You must have edited out the rain in the photo. Any chance of a short 500 word article for the South East Scotland Monthly meeting newsletter?

Thanks all. It has been surprisingly mild here with some rain, but not too much.

Jimbo, those words are powerful for the closeted.
IT is a lovely view. I prefer the mountains though.

elliot, you would love it here and you can buy a kilt!

love above all, yeah, if you like sheep, you will love Scotland. Oh, and I saw loads of piglets today. thanks to global warming they are giving birth earlier in the season.

So I was the last American you chatted with and I babbled inanely for several minutes? Oh well, probably just made you happier to escape the good old U.S. ;) Glad you're having a good time. Remember to rest and recharge, eh.
